April, 2025
- Developed a hybrid translation engine combining dictionary-based, rule-based, and trigram Markov models with 14k+ lexical entries and 68 grammar rules.
- Implemented compressed tries, perfect hashing, and sparse matrix optimizations to ensure fast lookups and efficient memory usage.
- Built a seven-stage preprocessing pipeline with normalization, regex handling, contraction expansion, and semantic truncation, optimized with multi-threading for 42.7 words/sec throughput in 128MB.

Multithreaded Producer-Consumer System with Deadlock Analysis

- Implemented a multithreaded producer-consumer system with 30 producer threads and 50 consumer threads, synchronized using POSIX mutexes and condition variables.
- Designed four independent circular buffers (one per item type) with head/tail pointers, item counters, and serial number tracking to manage concurrent access.
- Conducted deadlock probability analysis by varying buffer sizes (1500–2000 slots) and consumer workloads (1000–3000 units), identifying a 50% deadlock threshold at ~1800 slots.
- Developed automated stress testing and process monitoring techniques to detect and resolve deadlocks, ensuring system robustness under heavy loads.
